Scientific Excellence Center in Photovoltaic Energy that perform the tests according to the following list of international standards:

  • IEC 62446-1/3

Part 1: Grid connected systems - Documentation, commissioning tests and inspection.

Part 3: Photovoltaic modules and plants - Outdoor infrared thermography.

  • IEC 61557-5

The requirements applicable to measuring equipment for measuring the resistance to earth using an AC voltage.

  • IEC 60904-1

The requirements applicable to the measurement of current-voltage characteristics (I-V curves) of photovoltaic (PV) devices in natural or simulated sunlight.

  • IEC 60904-1-1/1-2

Part 1-1: The requirements applicable to measurement of the current-voltage characteristics of multi-junction photovoltaic devices in natural or simulated sunlight.

Part 1-2: The requirements applicable to the measurement of the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of bifacial photovoltaic devices in natural or simulated sunlight. It is applicable to single PV cells, sub-assemblies of such cells or entire PV modules.

  •  IEC 61215-1-1/2

Part 1-1: Terrestrial photovoltaic (PV) modules - Design qualification and type approval, Special requirements for testing of crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) modules.

Part 2: Test procedures.

  •  IEC 61730-2

Photovoltaic (PV) module safety qualification, Requirements for testing.

  • IEC 61853-1

Describes requirements for evaluating PV module performance in terms of power (watts) rating over a range of irradiances and temperatures.

  • CSN EN 50530

This European Standard provides a procedure for the measurement of the efficiency of the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of inverters, which are used in grid-connected photovoltaic systems.

  • IEC 61683

Describes guidelines for measuring the efficiency of power conditioners used in stand-alone and utility-interactive photovoltaic systems, where the output of the power conditioner is a stable a.c. voltage of constant frequency or a stable d.c. voltage.
